Trans cultural Research Centre & Anuvad Club

Anuvad Club Headed by Dr. G. Mohana Charyulu, Associate Professor of English Department conducted a poem and short story writing competition on 30th January, 2015 in commemoration of World Non Violence day. The theme of the poem and short story is “ Peace and international understanding”. 82 students expressed their views in the form of poems and short stories out of which the following are selected. They will be published in the form of a book with the title “Bloosming Buds” on 28 March, 2015 during NCTLL 2015.

Research Clubs:

• 1.Anuvad Research club: Students from 16 sections attended translation competition conducted during Teachers day celebrations 2016 and submitted their poems on teachers.
• 2.Two Students named Submitted their research papers for UGC recognized journals for the publication in September, 2016.
• 3.Reflection club members actively participated in the Literary and cultural festival conducted in 2016. They participated in various literary and cultural competitions and bagged prizes.
• 4. The club members extended their cooperation in the successful conduct of the national literary cultural festival organized by the department of English.

Dr.K.K.Sunalini ,from the Dept.of English organized an activity of debate on 31st December 2014,on the topic entitled “Chetan Bhagat as a Youth Icon”. The discussion was participated by more than 25 students of FED. The activity was headed by Dr.M.Latha, Head of the Department. Faculty,Dr.K.V.Divya, Dr.M.Mohanacharyulu, Dr.Ch.Naresh, Dr.K.B.Glory, M.Raja Ambethkar, V.Leela Priyadarshini, D.Anand, P.N.V.S.Kumari and Mrs.K.Jahnavi have offered their valuable suggestions on the novels of Chetan Bhagat. Technicians, T.Kumar Reddy and K. Srinivas have assisted enormously.
