Dr. Gomathi Gowda
Areas of Specialization: Art History-Indian and Western, Aesthetics, Visual Communication
Academician, Artist, Photographer, Researcher and a Curator with an MVA in Art History and PhD from the University of Mysore. Her research interests are varied that includes Indian Heritage and Culture, Classical and Folk Arts, Media Studies and Advertising. She has worked as a research associate at IGNCA, a Central Government Organization. She has participated in several National and International Seminars and also has published papers in reputed National and International Journals. She is the recipient of MHRD Fellowship and finished three projects from Private organizations. She is an External Evaluator for PhD thesis for Hampi and Jain University. She curates Art Shows and continues to write for Art Journals. Ten years into teaching the subjects, she has inspired students and researchers.
