Dr. Giridhar Kanuri a fellow funded by GIZ, Germany. Dr. Kanuri spent a decade in Germany at the University of Hohenheim, and Friedrich Schiller University Jena for his doctoral and postdoctoral training respectively.

Later he moved to St. John's Research Institute, Bangalore as a Research Scientist and Lab Head of Welcome Trust-DBT Hematology Research Unit. His research primarily focuses on to develop and validate the point of care novel biomarkers that detect iron deficiency anemia in women, children and diseased patients. He has published 22 scientific manuscripts in international peer-reviewed journals and is an active & self-motivated individual who encourages his colleagues and students to participate in philanthropic and social activities.

He leads by example in dedication towards academics and research by working along with students and staff to achieve the best results.
